Non-Alcoholic Cocktails for the World Cup
Filed in archive Summer Cocktails on June 19, 2010
Continuing our series of cocktails to enjoy during the World Cup, we thought we'd check out some non-alcoholic options, for those who prefer their drinks that way. Courtesy of the NHS, here are a pick of the ones that stand out to us. Below are representatives from joint-favourites Brazil and an outside team who are looking very strong at the minute, Mexico.
Non-Alcoholic Caipirinha
Ginger Ale
Sugar (2 teaspoons)
Diced lime, lemon and orange
Put the fruit in a jug and add the sugar. Stir until the juices release from the fruit and strain the mix into tumblers filled with ice. Top off with the ginger ale.

Virgin Margarita
Orange Juice (1 shot)
Lime Juice (1 shot)
Sour Mix (3 shots)
Lemonade (as needed)
Add the sour mix and fruit juice into a cocktail shaker full of ice. Shake well and strain into a tall glass of ice. Top up with lemonade to taste.
